Hebden Bridge RDA is a voluntary organisation whose aim is to provide opportunities for everyone, regardless of ability, to share in the enjoyment of horses and ponies. We welcome riders and volunteers of all ages and aim to accommodate their needs.
We are a member of the National RDA and one of over 600 groups nationally.
Riders complete a membership form which needs signing by a health professional.
After an initial assessment by a qualified instructor you will be offered a regular lesson on a Monday early evening. We ride all year round (usually term time) and have both indoor and outdoor facilities.
RDA is a charity run completely by volunteers. We receive no government funding. We welcome all offers of support. We need help with fund raising and welcome new comers to the committee. Volunteers are needed on a Monday to work with the riders and horses. If you would like to volunteer or gain more information and you are over 12 years of age, please contact our group. You will be able to work directly with horse and rider, learn stable management, help with fund raising or running the committee. We provide training, support and C.R.B. checks.
